Ingredients
  

Fish

  • 4 fillets salmon skin on or off

Cheese

  • 1 round Boursin garlic and fine herbs cheese

Oils and Seasonings

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste

Additional Ingredients

  • lemon slices
  • fresh parsley or dill for garnish
  • optional vegetables cherry tomatoes, asparagus spears, spinach, shallots, or crushed garlic

Cooking Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking dish with foil or parchment paper.
  • Pat salmon fillets dry and place them in the baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Optionally, add a little lemon zest for brightness.
  • Spread or crumble Boursin cheese over each salmon fillet.
  • Bake for 14–17 minutes, depending on thickness, until salmon is flaky and cheese is soft and golden.
  • Remove from oven, squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top, and garnish with parsley or dill before serving.

Notes

For best results, check salmon a few minutes early to prevent overcooking. You can add vegetables like cherry tomatoes or asparagus to the same pan for a complete meal. Reheat leftovers gently at 300°F to maintain tenderness. Avoid high-heat microwaving.
