  • 4 medium-sized apples, peeled and sliced
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Crumble Topping

  • 200 grams all-purpose flour
  • 100 grams brown sugar
  • 100 grams softened butter (or plant-based alternative)
  • 50 grams oats

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). In a bowl, mix sliced apples with lemon juice and sugar until well-coated.
  • In another bowl, beat mascarpone until smooth, then fold in the apple mixture.
  • For the crumble topping, combine flour, brown sugar, oats, and softened butter; mix until crumbly.
  • Pour the mascarpone apple mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the crumble topping evenly on top.
  • Bake for about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving warm or at room temperature.
