Be careful not to burn the cheese or else it will taste bitter. Oven temperatures vary so start checking it at 16 minutes. Slice the onions thin or else they will come out soggy. If you don't have a mandolin slicer, just use a sharp knife and slice as thin as possible. If you don't have cooking oil spray, just dab the onions with a bit of olive oil or avocado oil with a brush. You technically only need the onion and parmesan cheese to make this.
