Ingredients
  

Bread Base

  • 1 baguette baguette or Italian bread, sliced Slices of 1-2 cm thickness
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil divided
  • 1-2 cloves garlic peeled

Toppings

  • 2-3 cups cherry tomatoes halved
  • ¼ cup red onion finely sliced
  • ½ cup fresh basil chopped or torn
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • to taste kosher salt
  • to taste black pepper
  • to garnish flaky salt
  • to garnish balsamic glaze
  • to garnish extra olive oil
  • to garnish additional fresh basil
  • 1 ball fresh burrata

Instructions
 

Preparation Steps

  • Lightly rub the slices of bread with olive oil. Grill or toast, then rub each side with a garlic clove.
  • In a bowl, mix the cherry tomatoes, red onion, basil, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  • Arrange the grilled bread slices on a plate and add burrata on each slice.
  • Top with the tomato mixture, drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze. Add flaky salt and fresh basil.

Notes

Serve immediately to keep the bread crispy. The topping can be prepared 2 hours in advance.
