Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 3 large eggs beaten

Fruits and Nuts

  • 3 cups apples peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts Optional

Baking Instructions

  • Gather all ingredients. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Grease two 8x4-inch loaf pans or one 10-inch Bundt pan with cooking spray.
  • Mix flour, baking soda, salt, walnuts, and apples in a large bowl.
  • Whisk oil, sugar, eggs, and cinnamon together in a small bowl; add to flour mixture and mix until just moistened.
  • Spoon batter into prepared pan(s).
  • Bake in preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Cool in the pans briefly before removing to cool completely on a wire rack.

Notes

The baking time may vary depending on whether you bake the cakes in loaf pans or a Bundt.
